Tonight in downtown Dayton is First Friday….a Fresh Start Edition! This rings in 2019 with food and drink specials, art gallery openings, live music, and more to love. 

The Magic of Motown features legendary Motown groups including The Capitols, The Miracles, The Temptations and they are here. The night is filled with songs from throughout the Motown catalog, including those by The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and The Temptations. This is at the Schuster Center, Saturday, 8pm.

The Lincoln Society of Dayton has their first meeting of the New Year. Both Civil War and Dayton History define the story of Emma Lloyd Miller, affectionately known as "The Little Mother of the (Dayton) Soldiers Home." All are welcome without charge. Light refreshments conclude the afternoon. This is in The Barn, (the administration building of Ohio Hospice), at Paragon and Congress Park on Sunday at 2pm.

Muse Machine's 2019 student musical is Mamma Mia. There will be 5 performances January 10th to the 13th and you can get your tickets now.

Ecocamps at Glen Helen Outdoor Education Center are an exciting alternative to beat summer boredom! Each camp offers a nature-based theme with engaging and age appropriate hands-on activities. Registration is now open.
