What's Great In Dayton: January 18 - 24, 2019

Fish Fry! Don’t miss the fun, Big Cash Raffle,  Silent Auction, Casino Games, Cards, & the 50/50 split the pot raffle! This Fish Fry and more is tonight 7pm to midnight at St. Albert The Great in Kettering.

The play Assassins lays bare the lives of nine individuals who assassinated or tried to assassinate the President of the United States. This is a one-act historical "revusical" that explores the dark side of the American experience. It is at the PNC Arts Annex tonight, and Saturday for a matinee and for an evening show.

The 3rd annual Women’s March Rally. This year, all are coming together to honor the work of the civil rights movement and celebrate the #WomensWave of progressive candidates across Ohio and the rest of the country. The rally begins at 11am on Saturday, at the Dayton Courthouse Square.

The 29th Annual Dayton-Area Works on Paper is a juried exhibition created for artists living within a 40-mile radius of Dayton. The exhibition features two-and three-dimensional works of art on or of paper. $1,000 in artist awards are selected by the juror and gallery visitors select a People's Choice Award. This show is now to February 22 and the opening reception is Sunday, 2 to 4pm in the Rosewood Gallery in Kettering.

Ecocamps at Glen Helen Outdoor Education Center offer a nature-based theme with engaging and age appropriate hands-on activities. Registration is now open.

Get Creative! The PNC Arts Annex offer a variety of classes and workshops for all ages. This is the new location across the street of The Schuster.

Charlie Campbell wants to spread the news of so many wonderful aspects in the greater Dayton area. He is a cheerleader and a real believer that our area is the place to be. He has been active in this area for almost 40 years and you can hear him weekly at WYSO.
