The SunWatch Winter Lecture Series begins this weekend.

In the first presentation in the SunWatch Winter Lecture Series Dr. Melissa Baltus from The University of Toledo discusses excavations west of "Downtown" Cahokia. This is the site of a pre-Columbian Native American city directly across the Mississippi River from modern St. Louis, Missouri. The presentation is Saturday, at 10:30am.

Since now there are major changes to the rules of golf, Miami Valley Golf is offering an expanded schedule of complimentary workshops. The next session is at the Dayton Country Club on Saturday, 10am - Noon.

Jess Montgomery (aka Sharon Short) is talking about her first book in her new series, THE WIDOWS. This presentation is at Books & Co. at The Greene on Saturday, at 2pm.

Ecocamps at Glen Helen Outdoor Education Center offer a nature-based theme with engaging and age appropriate hands-on activities. Registration is now open.

PBS Edcamp at Wright State is a participant-driven professional development event for pre-K to third grade educators. Attendees decide the session topics on the day of the event, then collaborate with their peers around these relevant topics. This is on January 26.
