A Celtic Tenors Christmas. The world-class Celtic Tenors perform holiday traditions Irish favorites classical arias and popular songs that consistently bring audiences around the world to tears, to laughter, and to their feet. This is at the Schuster Center tonight & Saturday at 8pm.
There is so much going on in Kettering this weekend. The Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting is tonight at 6 to 8pm then Breakfast with Santa Paws and a Rosewood Holiday Arts Festival.
December’s First Friday is also the official launch of the 2019 Whimsical Windows contest. Downtown businesses go pane-to-pane to out decorate one another for the holidays. Use the Dayton.com online voting tool to help downtown small businesses win a cash prize and the title of “most festive” display.
Traditional candle dipping using beeswax creates special memories at Aullwood. The glow of a dipped candle is the perfect way to “warm up” a cold winter night. Aullwood Candle Dipping is Saturdays and Sundays starting at 2:30pm.
In the Spirit of Abundant Blessings DCDC’s concert series gathers together the best singers from community churches, live musicians, and the company dancers in celebration of the African-American church. This is at the Victoria Theatre Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 4pm.
Sweet sounds of the holidays are perfect for the whole family. Celebrate the season with the annual concert and sing-along filled with transcendent bells ringing, joyous children singing, and the sweet guitar of Jim McCutcheon. This is at the Kettering Adventist Church on Sunday at 7:30pm.
