What's Great In Dayton: August 16 - 22, 2019

African American Cultural Festival in Dayton
https://www.facebook.com/DAACFEST/
The 11th Annual African American Cultural Festival is this weekend in Dayton.

The 11th Annual African American Cultural Festival is at Dayton Island MetroPark ….the one off Helena Street on Saturday. There are tons of things going on from noon to 8pm.

The Great American Beer Tasting is at The Dayton Dragons on Saturday from 2 to 6pm.

And since Saturday was the beer tasting on Sunday is The Summer WINE Festival. It features more than 50 wines in the Schuster Center’s beautiful Wintergarden. Summer themed stations inspire you to pick the perfect wine. It’s from 2 to 5pm.

The Daniel Tiger “Be My Neighbor Day” event is where you can engage in hands-on activities, see emergency vehicles close up, talk to first responders and of course say hello to Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittykat. This is at the Levitt Pavilion from 1 to 4.

And then at 4:30 at the Levitt Pavilion are Michael & The Rockness Monsters. This is an interactive, super galactic – funk inspired, rock-n-roll experience for families. The shows and music of this act shine with creativity. The music is both silly and serious—filled with catchy melodies and thick instrumentation. There is no cost...just bring your chair!

Gotta go….
