On Saturday, Five Rivers MetroParks will celebrate Opening Day for the region's bike trails.

The MeowZa Grand Re-Opening! You've cat to be kitten us! We are so excited right meow!! It’s inside the Dayton Mall to celebrate the new, larger location in the JCPenney Courtyard with some fantastic feline fun including cupcakes, a raffle for a new 6-foot-tall cat tree, special adoption pricing for all cats and kittens and more. This is today through Sunday.

Aullwood’s 15th annual Native Plant Sale features over 100 species of native wildflowers, trees, shrubs and grasses, many of which directly benefit birds! It's at the Charity A. Krueger Farm Discovery Center, on Saturday, 9am to 3pm.

Opening Day for Trails is the national kickoff celebration for the spring trail season. Go to RiverScape MetroPark for a day of food, fun, & festivities. Explore how trails are transforming Ohio with bike rides led by Bike Miami Valley and Five Rivers MetroParks and hikes led by The Buckeye Trail Association andFive Rivers MetroParks. This is Saturday from 11am to 2pm.

Join up for a very special open house in the Wright Brothers house in Oakwood. This is on April 28 from noon to 5pm. Act fast to get reservations! This special Hawthorn Hill open house only happens once a year and has sold out the past three years!

The Glen Helen 2019 online auction is running now to April 30th. They are providing amazing, unique experiences, rather than acquiring a bunch of stuff. Plus, all proceeds benefit Glen Helen.

A Miniature Museum of Marian Art: The Madonna on Stamps. Visit the Marian Library's gallery for a display of Marian postage stamps that showcase the Madonnas created by Renaissance masters Botticelli, Dürer, Memling and Raphael. It's at UD’s The Marian Library and the gallery is there to the end of June. It’s open 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
