WYSO Today brings you news and weather for Dayton and Southwest Ohio. A rally was held in Springfield to support the community's Haitian population in light of the loss of their Temporary Protected Status; a local agricultural organization is joining a lawsuit to restore their cancelled federal funding; and a Supreme Court ruling regarding mail-in voting in Mississippi doesn't change Ohio's elimination of a grace period for mail-in voting.

A chance meeting with a volunteer in a college computer lab in 1987 brought Mike Frazier to WYSO. He is a lifelong Daytonian and the host of Morning Edition.
