Geraldine Brooks returned to the program for her fourth visit. The first time I interviewed her it was for her first novel Year of Wonders, when it came out in paperback 20 years ago. Geraldine never ceases to surprise me. Her novels are always deeply researched and thoroughly entertaining. Her latest one, Horse, taught me more than I could have ever imagined about horses.
