Nicolás Obregón returned to the program to discuss his third novel in a series that features Inspector Kosuke Iwata. In this one Iwata has returned to Japan following a long absence to help with a murder investigation. A young woman, a British citizen, has been found dead at a "love hotel." As Iwata dives into this case he also begins to realize that a serial killer has been stalking women and as if that wasn't enough he also had an ulterior motive for returning to his homeland, retribution. It's personal, and it involves a close family member.
I'm a huge fan of Nicolás Obregón. During this interview he talked about his current writing project and it could not be more different than the Iwata books. I shall hold out hope however that we have not seen the last of Inspector Kosuke Iwata.
