The National Football League Foundation has announced it will install a new, professional quality artificial-turf field in Dayton's Kettering Field park.

The NFL field was originally slated for Dayton’s Triangle Park, site of the first official NFL game between the Dayton Triangles and the Columbus Panhandles in 1920, but  plans were scrapped after tests indicated the presence of possible Native American artifacts and remains at the site.

On Saturday, the Cincinnati Bengals will host a special football clinic for middle and high school athletes at Kettering Field park from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., before the Bengals Training Camp takes place at Welcome Stadium in Dayton near the University of Dayton Arena later that day.
