A moving celebration of Dayton’s FUNK roots brings together DCDC and Dayton Ballet into one striking weekend of dance, music and soul. With music by Ohio Players, Shirley Murdoch, ZAPP, and more, the companies vibe and groove to the sounds of an era. Featuring world premieres by Alia Kache, Gary W. Jeter II, and Brandon Ragland, with original compositions by LaFrey Sci and interludes performed live by Deron Bell & the Time to Groove Houseband.
