Four women embody the contemporary arts scene and reveal their power to launch Women’s History Month. POWER & PRESENCE, a concert of new voices, is graced with world premieres by DCDC’s Qarrianne Blayr and Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble’s Winifred Harris. Countess V. Winfrey’s gorgeous, evergreen “huMAN/NAture” receives a much-deserved revival. And Kia Smith, DCDC and one of Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch,” brings her heralded company, South Chicago Dance Theatre, to the Victoria stage as a guest company.
