Carillon Park Rail Festival

Carillon Park Rail Festival

Typically held each June, Carillon Historical Park’s Rail Festival is a two-day family fun event featuring free miniature train rides, live steam engines, model train displays, historical displays, train merchandise, rail vendors, and much more.

Carillon Historical Park is home to B&O #1, John Quincy Adams (the oldest existing American-built locomotive), a Barney & Smith wooden parlor car, an Interurban, a train station, and more. Presented by the Carillon Park Rail & Steam Society, Rail Festival is a perfect complement to Carillon Historical Park’s rail-themed artifacts, many of which are located in the James F. Dicke Family Transportation Center.
