Scarves. Hats. Jackets. Porters and stouts. Yes, fall has arrived in downtown Dayton, and First Friday is the perfect time to enjoy all the sights and sounds. Art galleries, boutique retailers, performance halls, bars, restaurants, and many more locations will host special activities tonight.
Learn About Wright-Patt, Roswell and UFOs. In July 1947, people believed they saw an unidentified flying object crash near Roswell, New Mexico. Learn about Wright-Patt's involvement with this at the Centerville Library on Saturday at 1:30pm.
Geared towards the at-home gourmet or the brand new cook, Around the Kitchen offers a multitude of vendors featuring everything from spices and seasonings, textiles and dishes, to pots, pans and housewares all under one roof! This focuses on food and making the home a warm and inviting place! This is Saturday, 10 am - 7 pm, and Sunday, 10 am - 5 pm, at the Dayton Convention Center.
It's going to be a great time, with 4 Do It Yourself stations, and 15 Competing Artists for the infamous "Knot Award" sculpture, and cash prizes too! Musica is Dayton's Chamber Choir and their latest is A World Of Harmony. This is a celebration of music from around the globe. The choir will perform diverse and eclectic works from all six of our inhabited continents. Sunday, 3pm, First Presbyterian Church here in Yellow Springs.
