On Saturday the Dayton Philharmonic is doing Beethoven’s 8th and Florence Price Violin Concerto No. 2 with both in-theatre performance and live stream. The Dayton Anthology is a book that is a snapshot of our town as it is recovering from the tornadoes and the mass shooting that took the lives of nine residents. Contributors reflect on these traumas and the longer-term ills that have plagued the city for years …but it also is about the resilience of the people who call Dayton home.
