Today is First Friday and lots of things going on in Downtown Dayton this evening.

And if go to 1001 East Second Street you are at Front Street and you can check out more than 40 art studios and galleries across their campus.

Tomorrow, Saturday, from 10am to 2pm at the K12 Gallery & TEJAS is their annual Scarecrow Market. It’s a variety of activities from a Pumpkin Carving demo, a Hot Glass Pumpkin demo, an Artisan Market & more. Costumes are encouraged!

And if you like CHOCOLATE also on Saturday is the 18th Annual Chocolate Festival. It’s at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds with a family friendly indoors, live radio broadcasts, entertainment, door prizes, a kids area, some vendors and CHOCOLATE! 10am to 5pm.

Mock Turtle is a literary magazine published and distributed for free in the Miami Valley. It includes prose, fiction, poetry, non-fiction, photography, and art, mostly by local people. If you’d like to submit your creative work the guidelines on the website will tell you how.

The Schuster has a video that lets all of us know how the heritage of the Wright Brothers is IN the Schuster.

Dayton Live are offering young people several opportunities to explore their creativity in the PNC Arts Annex. There is dancing, acting, improv, and more for students ages 4-18! These classes are FREE but registration is required.

Charlie Campbell wants to spread the news of so many wonderful aspects in the greater Dayton area. He is a cheerleader and a real believer that our area is the place to be. He has been active in this area for almost 40 years and you can hear him weekly at WYSO.
