Hailing from the Miami Valley and the Dayton area theater spectrum, YS Kids Playhouse brings local youth together to create original works. With a long running history of nearly 23 years, YSKP is dedicated to creating a piece of theater for the local youth that explore their talents and issues that are important to them. Luminous Luna is a musical that will narrate stories about the moon with the help of mythology from different cultures, modern stories and scientific facts. Directors Ara G. Beal and Melissa Heston joined Niki Dakota live on Excursions to explain the process and ideologies behind their 23rd summer musical.
