The Brunner Literacy Center (BLC) is excited to announce its first-ever “Spelling with the Stars” adult spelling bee fundraiser.
This fundraising event will feature spellers from local businesses and organizations competing in a fun, lighthearted spelling bee to support a serious cause. There will also be light refreshments and a fundraising raffle. All proceeds will benefit the Brunner Literacy Center, a nonprofit dedicated to providing no-cost, one-on-one instruction for adults in basic education, GED preparation, English language learning and continuing education. A fun-filled evening in support of homeless, emancipated foster care youth, featuring Hors d'oeuvres, dinner, dessert, gift card silent auction, and inspiring testimonies. People from the community will be honored for their lives, talents and service with their family, friends and the wider community witnessing the grand event! The evening will be concluded with free dancing by a live band for everyone's delight to swing to and tap their foot!
