Join us at Swoon Books and Wine for a Belle Époque salon in honor of Dayton's original romance
writer, Natalie Clifford Barney, the legendary lesbian writer, memoirist, and salon hostess whose
weekly Friday gatherings at her Paris home drew the likes of Colette, Gertrude Stein, Djuna Barnes,
and Ezra Pound. Connect, get inspired by Barney’s poems, and practice writing your own with
signature cocktails, wine and Barney-themed poetry writing swag. Poetry and short-form writing
facilitation led by Meredith Doench and Masha Kisel.
