The Downtown Adventure is this weekend.

Charlie Campbell's picks for what to do and see this week in the Miami Valley.

The Downtown Adventure is your chance to explore downtown Dayton businesses, and sights, in a scavenger hunt for the chance to win prizes! This fun event will be held Saturday, July 10 as part of the 2021 Ohio Summer in the City lineup. Register your team now and sign up for the adventure to find hidden clues throughout the city.

Swirlware is a way some clay artists mix two or more clays and let them spiral together on the spinning wheel. The Kiln Sale Swirlware is today, tomorrow and Sunday.… right here in Yellow Springs at Miami Valley Pottery.

Tonight and Saturday there are performers at Levitt Pavilion. It’s at 7pm and no cost for this….but you do need to bring a chair. Check out who is playing at: levittdayton.org

Four beautiful, badass women lose their heads in this irreverent, girl-powered comedy set during the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror. It feels a bit like Sex and the City circa 1793 in Paris. These women are all committed to finding Equality for Women while trying to figure out what it means to be “revolutionary.” This grand, and zany, comedy is about violence and legacy, art and activism, feminism and terrorism, compatriots and chosen sisters, and how they actually go about changing the world without losing their heads. This is at the Human Race Theatre and is streaming now through the 4th of July.

Passport to MetroParks challenges families to participate in nature, education, conservation, and outdoor recreation activities that can be done independently on their own time and at their own pace. New activities will be added throughout the summer.

Gotta go…
