The Friends of the Library Fall Book Sale supporting Dayton Metro Library is this weekend.

The Friends of the Library Fall Book Salehas  books for all ages, CDs, DVDs & more. Special Collection items are individually priced.  All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Dayton Metro Library. This is today 4 to 8pm; and  Saturday, 10am to 5pm at the Dayton Convention Center.

The Aullwood Birdseed has been specially developed to attract more unique Midwestern birds with high quality ingredients and you can buy it the Aullwood Birdseed sale. Also, a big selection of quality bird feeders, field guides, and natural history books are also available at the Center. There is no cost for admission on Saturday, 9am to 4pm.

Mingle with more than 50 artists whose artwork will be included in the Bill Franz: Behind the Scenes Exhibit and help select a winner of the 8th annual ART OFF Live Painting Competition. Buy local artwork and gift baskets during the silent auction. Enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres, drinks, live music and art demonstrations while supporting art education programs at K12 Gallery & TEJAS. This is Saturday, 6 to 9pm.

The Little Exchange Annual Holiday Open House is adorned with custom designed trees, garlands and wreaths, unique ornaments and decorations, holiday serveware, and an assortment of women's accessories for the season. There are gifts for just about everyone. This is Sunday, 11am to 5pm.

Entries are now being sought for Gingerbread Homes for the Holidays Contest. All ages and skill levels are invited to participate. The child group are 12 and younger; teen is 13 to 17; adult are18 and older and there is a professional category. Entry forms and a complete list of contest rules are available.
