The way existing livestock disease testing works, farmers can wait days or even weeks on outside labs. The Kalix PCR testing system, licensed under University of Dayton, provides on-site testing to quickly prevent disease from spreading among cows, chickens or other farm animals.
Some farmers in Ohio are shifting their practices and being part of the climate change solution. They do that through regenerative agriculture that seeks to restore and build on farming’s pre-industrial practices. Some small farmers are leading that change.
