WYSO/Joshua Chenault

The Carillon Park Rail Festival is a two-day family fun event featuring miniature train rides, live steam engines, model train displays, historical displays, train merchandise, rail vendors, food vendors, and much more. It is Saturday, 9:30 am to 5pm; and Sunday, 11am to 4pm.

The 2nd Street Market is open Thursday and Friday from 11am to 3pm, Saturday from 8am to 3pm, and now Sunday from 11am to 3pm. You enjoy live music and offerings from more than 40 vendors, which are small locally owned businesses.

Do you have a used musical instrument you no longer need? You can drop off instruments now until the end of July at your nearest Grismer Tire & Auto Service Center.

The Teen Usher & Ambassador Program introduces high school teens, ages 14 to18, in the community to the positive aspects of volunteering by providing them with hands-on experiences in the performing arts. Applications for this are available on the Victoria Theater website until July 1.

Did you know that the MeowZa! Cat Boutique, located inside the Dayton Mall, is run primarily by volunteers of the Humane Society of Greater Dayton? Sign up to volunteer at their store!

The Wright Brothers Store has a Huffman Prairie Rollerball Pen which features Honey Locust wood. It's from the property of Huffman Prairie, near Dayton, where Wilbur and Orville perfected the invention of flight.

Lizzie Borden took an ax…” And we know what happened next. Or do we? Lizzie is a powerhouse rock-show retelling of the sensational – and bloody – double murder that shocked New England in the summer of 1892. This is at the Human Race Theatre now and to the end of the month.

Gotta go…
