The Nautical Theme

The Nautical Theme was preparing to release its sophomore album, Lows + Highs, just as the early days of coronavirus lockdowns began. Tesia Mallory (vocals, keys) and Matt Shetler (vocals, guitar) continued writing and recording in the subsequent year, and the result is their latest three song EP, Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed.

Mallory and Shetler joined Kaleidoscope host Juliet Fromholt for a live set in the WYSO studio and talked about the new release, making music during a pandemic, and their upcoming live performances at For Dayton By Dayton, Rock Piqua and Dayton Porchfest.
