The Coen Brothers released their breakout film "Fargo" 25 years ago. To coincide with that anniversary Todd Melby recently published his book "A Lot Can Happen in the Middle of Nowhere: The Untold Story of the Making of Fargo."
Melby offers readers an inside look at some of the behind the scenes action that took place on the set of the film. For one thing, they needed snow and that winter in Minnesota was sadly lacking in that crucial precipitation. Then there was the wood chipper; whatever became of it? Melby answers those questions and many more in this fascinating book. We talked about some of those subjects during our interview while many other avenues we left unexplored so that you'll probably want to read this book after hearing what we had to say about it.
