Anita Diamint made her only appearance on the show when her novel "Good Harbor" came out in paperback. Diamint is probably best known for her novel "The Red Tent." That book was one of those hand-sell favorites of bookstore clerks. It started out slowly then built momentum and ended up selling millions of copies.
Breast cancer is one of the themes in "Good Harbor" and during the interview we had a very good discussion about this disease that has impacted so many people.The author has written widely about practices in Judaism. She didn't plan to do that initially but she just kept identifying niches that needed filling.
