Book Nook: Deep into the Dark by P.J. Tracy

Vick Mikcunas' 2021 interview with P.J. Tracy

P.J. Tracy made her first appearance on the program to talk about her new crime novel "Deep into the Dark." This is the first book in a new series set in Los Angeles. Her central protagonists are a police detective who is trying to solve what appear to be the serial murders of women in the same neighborhood and a combat veteran who has been horribly wounded and suffered a facial disfigurement.

Tracy is best known for the "Monkeywrench" series. Those books were written by P.J. Tracy which is a pen name that was originally used by this author and her mother. They co-wrote most of those books as a team. Now she is forging ahead with this new series while still using the pen name she once shared with her late mother.

The Book Nook on WYSO is presented by the Greene County Public Library with additional support from Washington-Centerville Public Library, Clark County Public Library, Dayton Metro Library, and Wright Memorial Public Library.
