What's Great In Dayton: July 20 - 26, 2018

The Old Court House's elegant 1850 courtroom comes to life at Old Case Files. Audience members hear testimonies from witnesses, arguments from the prosecution and defense, converse with costumed spectators, study period newspapers, and view historical exhibits to uncover the events surrounding the trial. This show is tonight, Saturday and Sunday.

Change Your Landscaping Attitude. Learn how you can be part of this exciting movement by attending a screening of a film with Catherine Zimmerman called Hometown Habitat: Stories of Bringing Nature Home. This is on Saturday, 10am to noon, at Cox Arboretum MetroPark.

You can participate in demonstration stations and hands-on activities to learn about space exploration. Children are given a rocket kit to build on site and then launch on museum grounds. All activities have no cost and no advanced reservations are necessary. This is at the US Air Force Museum, Saturday, 10am to 3pm.

The 43rd annual Band Organ Rally returns to Carillon Historical Park on Saturday 9:30am to 5pm and Sunday, from noon to 5pm. Featuring monkey organs, Dutch street organs, carousel organs, band organs, large fairground organs, and more, it will be hard to leave this unique event without a smile on your face.

Put some Adventure into your summer with 12-hours of uninterrupted music. This is the first annual Adventures Fest, held on Saturday at Adventures on the Great Miami in Tipp City.
