The Adventure Summit returns to Wright State University this weekend.

The Adventure Summit celebrates the spirit of outdoor adventure by showcasing the vibrant lifestyle and culture of human-powered endeavors through inspiration, education, and experience. This event has something for everyone. It’s at Wright State Friday and Saturday.

There’s a community blood drive and everyone who registers to donate will receive the “Donor Strong” long-sleeve t-shirt. It’s at the Epiphany Lutheran Church in Centerville at 6430 Far Hills Avenue on Saturday. Make an appointment online at DonorTime.com

Flowering orchids of all shapes and sizes are the 60th annual Spring Orchid Show and Sale. It's at the Cox Arboretum MetroPark on Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 4pm. There is no cost and open to the public.

"Keep it to yourself"  was written at the bottom of a mysterious letter found underneath a bathtub during a 2008 renovation at a house in Oakwood. The letter, dated July 20,1920, was from a man named Will to a woman named Rose. Learn the story behind the podcast titled Fifth and Ludlow at the Wright Public Library in Oakwood on Sunday at 2pm.

Perfected Love is a true story written and directed by Takelia Day and is about a young boy who grew up in the inner city of Dayton Ohio. It’s at The Neon on Sunday at 5:30pm.
