The 36th Germanfest Picnic is this weekend at RiverScape MetroPark.

The 36th Germanfest Picnic gives a glimpse of the German heritage that has given Dayton some of its cultural identity. It's at Riverscape MetroPark in Downtown Dayton tonight, Saturday and Sunday.

The Friends of Washington-Centerville Public Libraryare having a “Better Books Blow-out.” It's at Centerville Library on Spring Valley Road today until 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 5pm.

Old Case Files takes place at Dayton’s Old Court House and you hear testimonies from witnesses; arguments from the prosecution and defense; chatting with costumed spectators to uncover the events surrounding the trial. It is this weekend.

At the fourth annual BoomerFest Music Festivalthere are lots of awesome attractions! It’s at the St. Leonard grounds on Saturday and the entertainment begins at noon and concludes at 10pm.

It's the 20th anniversary of Giving Strings, a concert where 120+ local musicians, amateur to professional, come together to raise money for children's charities. It’s Saturday at 200 Ridgewood Avenue in Oakwood at 7pm.

At Art on the Commons you come enjoy delicious bites, hear wonderful tunes and see top-notch artwork which you can buy! This is at the Lincoln Park Civic Commons in Kettering on Sunday, 11am to 5pm.

The City of Dayton Funk Festival is at the Levitt Pavilion in downtown Dayton on Sunday from 1 to 9pm.Just bring your chair!
