What's Great in Dayton: April 10 - 16, 2015

The Dayton Metro Library's Big Spring Booksale is today, Saturday and Sunday at Hara Arena. The sale features books for children and adults as well as audio-visual materials and other items. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library organization.

Suzanne Kelly-Garrison will be reading from her Irish American coming-of-age novel, Stolen Child, tonight, 6:30p.m., at Epic Books right here in Yellow Springs. Set on the eve of JFK's election, the book was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Wine and Irish soda bread will be served in this cozy bookstore.

LUNAFEST, the award-winning short films by, for, and about women returns for it's 6th year in Dayton on Sunday, 3:00pm at The Neon. Proceeds benefit the Breast Cancer Fund and Planned Parenthood.

Charlie, It’s Great In Dayton, Campbell

Charlie Campbell wants to spread the news of so many wonderful aspects in the greater Dayton area. He is a cheerleader and a real believer that our area is the place to be. He has been active in this area for almost 40 years and you can hear him weekly at WYSO.
