Voters To Decide On Dayton Mayoral Candidates, Issues and Levies

Ohio Voters are going to the polls Tuesday to weigh in on a handful of issues, school levies and charter amendments. In Dayton, the outcome will decide who will be on the November ballot for Dayton mayor as well as city commissioners. Incumbent GaryLeitzell faces challenger Nan Whaley, a Democrat is a current city commissioner, and former judge A.J. Wagner. You can hear interview with all three on our website WYSO.org. Polls opened Tuesday morning at 6:30 and will remain open until 7:30 Tuesday evening. Absentee ballots must have been postmarked by the day before Election Day but can still be hand delivered in person to county board of elections before the close of the polls.
