Scary Hotel began as a solo poject for songwriter Mikey Chappell, but a move to Dayton gave way to a full band. The group's first full-length album, Love Like You're Lonely, was released in 2019, and now they're preparing for a lots of live shows in 2020. Scary Hotel visited the WYSO studios for a live performance on Kaleidoscope and talked with host Juliet Fromholt about album, upcoming shows, and more.
Scary Hotel will perform at South Park Tavern on February 28 with Mery Steel. On April 11, they'll join Blossom Hall and Creamboy on stage at Bar Granada in downtown Dayton.
