Local schools are stepping up to help students and the wider community as confirmed cases of the coronavirus continue to grow in the state.
Dayton Public Schools are making a limited number of Chromebooks available for families with students in need of computer access.
A note from DPS Superintendent Elizabeth Loli on the school’s website says wifi will be provided by school buses strategically parked in Dayton neighborhoods on certain days of the week. Loli says “ Students should plan on doing their work during those times.” Check the DPS website for those hours and locations.
DPS will give one Chromebook to each family of up to five people. All DPS seniors will get their own Chromebooks and wifi hot-spots in the next week or so.
