The Dayton edition of Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) parade and celebration returns to the city this weekend. Gabriela Pickett (owner of the Missing Peace Art Space) and Tiffany Clark (owner of The Mural Machine) spoke with WYSO's Niki Dakota on Excursions about the Mexican holiday honoring deceased family and loved ones, and their contributions to Dayton's festivities.
Dayton's Dia de Muertos parade and celebrations take place Sunday, October 21st at the Yellow Cab Tavern, with pre-parade activities beginning at 2, and the parade embarking at 4. More information can be found at facebook.com/diademuertosdayton.
