CMYS Emerging Ensembles Concert
Not your conventional "battle of the bands," this event features the two finalists of a national competition for young emerging chamber music ensembles. Selected by a panel of professional musicians, these finalists each perform a short program which is evaluated on site by the judges. Audience members also are invited to weigh in to select their favorite. Chamber Music in Yellow Springs is one of a small number of sponsors of such programs, designed to support and promote emerging talent in the field.
