Join the Dayton Sister City Committee and the Dayton chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League as we coordinate with Oiso, Dayton's Japanese sister city, in the simultaneous virtual ringing of bells to mark 75 years of peace since the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. We will be joining sister cities across the United States and Japan and encourage you to join us via Facebook Live. Local houses of worship will be ringing their bells precisely at 7:15pm, the time of the bombing of Hiroshima. Ring your bells, big and small, at home in solidarity of peace.
