"We have been truly blessed since the plant has closed - because some people have committed suicide, divorces, people have lost their homes, their cars... We're still standing. Everytime we think we're going under the water, something pushes us right back up."
Kim Clay lost his job when the GM plant in Moraine, OH closed in December of 2008. Since then, Kim and his wife Vanessa have struggled with unemployment and the loss of their health insurance... They also attended the Oscars in 2010. Kim was both subject and cinematographer in the locally-produced documentary, "The Last Truck: Closing of a GM Plant." Kim and Vanessa live in Dayton.
