What's Great in Dayton: October 2 - 8, 2020
Today is First Friday and lot’s to see and do including The ARTery Gallery at Front Street.
And in the Oregon District they have #Outon5th which opens up opportunities for different outdoor activities including socially-distanced dance classes, yoga, and more on Fifth Street. The pedestrian area is open every Friday through Sunday and includes expanded patios, community tables to enjoy food and drinks and retail shops on the sidewalks.
On Saturday there’s a Sidewalk Sale in downtown Dayton. More than 50 retailers, restaurants, bars, and other local artisan vendors will be set up for you to browse, shop, sip, and eat through downtown Dayton including a pumpkin painting activity for friends and family to enjoy (social distancing in place!) AND if you want to see me playing my accordion, I’ll be there from 11am to 12:30 at Talbott Tower.
Mountain bikes are now available for rent on select Tuesdays and Saturdays at the MetroParks Mountain Biking Area (MoMBA). This is a great opportunity to try the nine miles of single-track mountain biking trails without committing to buying gear, and you can also rent equipment to help you explore the outdoors.
