This year the Miami Valley Restaurant Association and Dayton Art Institute are partnering on Oktoberfest Weekend.

The Dayton Independent Film Festival has many films to increase empathy, understanding, and a sense of discovery. They have a platform to foster dialogue and reflection with an abundance of passion and creativity. It is this weekend and mostly virtual but one night is at the Dixie Drive In.

The Miami Valley Restaurant Association and Dayton Art Institute are partnering together for the Oktoberfest Weekend. German inspired meals and beer specials at many restaurants and proceeds from each meal will benefit the Dayton Art Institute.

In honor of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the Neon in Dayton be showing “RBG”, the 2018 documentary about her life and legacy, this weekend.

Woodland Cemetery has all kind of tours you can take....like Dayton's Walk of Fame Tour or Artists, Poets, Musicians, and Dancers. But if you don't want to hike around there are also virtual tours from the comfort of your couch.

The Dayton Literary Peace Prize has chosen Margaret Atwood as the 2020 Ambassador Richard C. Holbrooke Distinguished Achievement Award Winner.

Check out the monumental installation We The People. The Contemporary Dayton has partnered with the League of Women Voters to transform a portion of the gallery into a voter registration center. This is open to the general public now to November 30.
