Tonight there are many things you can be doing in downtown Dayton during First Friday from 5 to 10pm.
And close by at Front Street you can enjoy live music, tasty treats, and check out many studios. See some wood shops, sewing shops, glass, ceramic and painter's studios too. This is tonight, 5 to 9pm.
And on Fifth Street in the Oregon District there is no driving starting this evening for the whole weekend. This means the restaurants and bars are expanded into the streets. Fifth Street is filled with public seating so everyone can spread out and enjoy the outdoors. Retail shops have extra sidewalk space too. This is called Out on 5th and check it out on theoregondistrict.org
Local farmers, growers, producers, and artisan vendors are now at the 2nd Street Market, Saturday from 9am to 1pm.
And also on Saturday there is the Downtown Dayton Sidewalk Sale. More than 50 downtown retailers, restaurants, cafes, and artisan vendors are lining the streets from 11am to 4pm.
In honor of Dayton Foundation's 100th anniversary, they are giving 100 gifts to the community. These are announced weekly on the Foundation’s website which is:
