What's Great in Dayton: March 5 -11, 2021
The beginning of every month starts with a bang, and tonight is First Friday in downtown Dayton. Local businesses offer a little something special the first Friday of every month from live music, to food and drink, to art gallery exhibits and more.
And if you go to Front Street check out the ARTerty Gallery. They are featuring a show “Black and White” by a digital photographer.
Join the Tesla String Quartet on a journey to Italy. This is virtual so you will be in Venice and Rome. Thanks to the miracle of the green screen and evolving digital technology this New York City quartet is sharing the sounds of Italian-influenced composers and the seductive sights of a country known for its rich cultural heritage. This is Sunday, 3pm, on YouTube and no cost.
If you have heard about TEDx it is when people around the area make an excellent presentation that is always so interesting and so well done. I did it last year and it’s a wonderful experience. Right now, TEDx is looking for people who have an idea they want to share. Go to tedxdayton.com and you will see the steps to take.
Welcome to March….
