The Contemporary Dayton is holding their annual auction virtually.

The Contemporary Dayton 2020 Online Art Auction features works by over 100 local and Ohio artists. Online bidding is open now and closes on Sunday. The Live Auction Livestream is on Saturday at 7pm.

Innova Theatre's Tomorrow Program presents Disney's NEWSIES! It's based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899 in which Jack Kelly, a restless newsboy who dreams of being an artist in Santa Fe, leads his fellow newsies to take action against their behemoth publishing employer Joseph Pulitzer. This is at Caesar Ford's Amphitheatre in Xenia tonight and Saturday.

MetroParks wants to keep you and your family safely engaged with fun educational programs that help you connect with nature. Developed by MetroParks’ education and recreation staff, new take-home program kits allow families to experience nature on their own time while learning new things and developing new skills.

The search is on for a tree to adorn Courthouse Square during the holidays. The winning tree will be selected by a search crew at the end of October. If you have the perfect tree you can nominate it by contacting Colleen Turner at the Downtown Dayton Partnership.

Even though it’s organized in Kettering and it’s called PlayKettering, everyone can take their classes and programs. They are enrolling now.

The Levitt Pavilion Dayton has launched a virtual series titled “Levitt on Your Lawn.” Each week they are broadcasting a new concert on their Facebook page and YouTube channel.
