Cora Unashamed

Host Renee Montagne talks with Deborah Pratt, the director of Masterpiece Theater's Cora Unashamed, the story of a black woman living and working in a small, predominantly white, Iowa town in the 1920s and 1930s. The film is an adaptation of Langston Hughes' short story of the same name. It is the first of 9 new films in the American Collection Series on PBS's long-running Masterpiece Theater. It premieres tonight.
