Poll Shows Voters Don't Approve Of Obama Or His Opponents In Ohio

The Quinnipiac University poll shows 53% of Ohioans disapprove of the way President Obama is doing his job.  And 51% say he doesn’t deserve to be re-elected.  But the poll also shows voters don’t like the Republicans who are in the field either. 

In a head to head matchup, the survey shows President Obama would beat Texas Governor Rick Perry by three points and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney by two points.  That’s so close that this pollster considers it too close to call.

Quinnipiac Poll on Voter Photo ID Requirement

A new poll shows voters think it's ok to require Ohioans to show a photo ID when casting ballots.

In the latest Quinnipiac University poll, 93 percent of republicans, 77 percent of independents and 66 percent of Democrats said they'd support a law that requires voters to show photo id to vote. However, some lawmakers, including Ohio's Secretary of State Jon Husted, who support the bill don't like the way it was written and question its constitutionality.
