Tonight is First Friday in downtown Dayton and the United Way will host the Live United Block Party in the Oregon District from 4 to 7 p.m. 19 agencies of the organization will set up booths along Fifth Street, If you visit more than 10 of the booths then you will be entered into a raffle to win several prizes, including a diamond tennis bracelet and a pair of tickets to a Cincinnati Bengals football game. Look for Heater, the Dayton Dragons' mascot, wearing a Live United T-shirt during the block party.

RiverScape MetroPark will host the final concert in this year's series, with Stranger performing from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The park's concession stand will be open and beer will be sold from 5 to 7 p.m. MetroParks will demonstrate various kayaking skills on the river and free kayak rentals will be available.
