Cyber Engineering Students Graduate with Hackfest

Students of a cyber engineering course at the Air Force Institute of Technology will graduate today at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base - after the program's capstone event. 31 program graduates were separated into two teams competing against each other in large-scale cyber warfare. The cyber security boot camp was created by AFIT’s center for cyberspace research in response to the growing number of cyber security issues.

More Ohio students attend non-residential campuses

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - Data from Ohio's higher education board shows enrollment has more than tripled over the past decade at regional campuses and community colleges as more students attend locations away from residential campuses.

The Dayton Daily News reports data from the Ohio Board of Regents shows regional campuses and community colleges had 252,000 students last year. That's up from 74,000 a decade earlier.

Judge: Ohio school operator must turn over records

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A judge in Ohio has ruled that a private management company that operates a group of publicly funded charter schools must turn over financial records requested by the schools' governing boards.

The Wednesday ruling in Columbus comes in a lawsuit in which the boards of Hope Academies and Life Skills Centers in Cleveland and Akron asked to break their contracts with Akron-based White Hat Management LLC.
