Live on Kaleidoscope: Omega Music and the Buddha Den

Record Store Day 2011 coverage continues on Kaleidoscope with an interview with Alex Staiger from Omega Music and Kyle Melton and Don Thrasher of the Buddha Den.  They discuss the day of music and festivities that will be taking place at Omega Music in honor of their first Record Store Day in their Fifth Street location as well as what the tradition of listening to music on vinyl means for local music as well as the Staiger family.

After the Breeders invited the Buffalo Killers to play at All Tomorrow's Parties, Kelley Deal was approached to cover a Guided by Voices song for No More Fake Labels' Sing for Your Meat compilation.  So she contacted the Buffalo Killers to collaborate on a rendition of "Scalding Creek." 

Kelley Deal and the Buffalo Killers performed live on Kaleidoscope and talked about their collaboration.  Sing for Your Meat: a Tribute to Guided by Voices will be released on Record Store Day, April 16th on No More Fake Labels.
