Nightbeast makes a return visit to the WYSO studios to chat with Kaleidoscope host Juliet Fromholt about his new band, how it's changed the way he approaches music and their winter tour with God Bless and Asher Jones.

Nightbeast will perform on Saturday, December 17th at Gilly's in Dayton.

Live on Kaleidoscope: The Smug Brothers

The Smug Brothers, Kyle Melton and Don Thrasher, are preparing for the release of their latest EP, Treasure Virgins.  It's being released on cassette and digital download via Gas Daddy Go, a local record label started by Thrasher in the late 19080's, that's being revived for business in 2012.

The Smug Brothers will celebrate the release of Treasure Virgins by performing at Gilly's in Dayton on Saturday, December 17th.

Live on Kaleidoscope: Al Holbrook Talks about Nativity: The Pop Opera

Al Holbrook is a master of many musical styles.  Now he's trying his hand at musical theater in his second year performing in Nativity: the Pop Opera.  In this interview Holbrook speaks with Kaleidoscope host Juliet Fromholt about his experiences in the production and his plans for the new year. 

There will be two local performances of Nativity on Saturday, December 17th at Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene.
