This weekend is The Great Backyard Bird Count when bird watchers of all ages are counting birds. They are creating a real-time snapshot of where the birds are across the continent. Anyone can participate and it takes as little as 15 minutes on one day…It’s free, fun, and easy—and it helps the birds.

So many things going on….and one is about Paul Laurence Dunbar.

This event is set for Sunday, at 3:00 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church and they will be featuring “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.”

Tonight’s the time in downtown Dayton for their First Friday events. Galleries, restaurants and shops will host a variety of free events, including art exhibit openings and live music. And as you wander around you will be hearing Rev Cool from right here on WYSO because many of the places have tuned in 91.3.
